BIOGRAPHY: Jerry Sievers has researched and investigated reports of UFOs and other unexplained phenomena since 1957. It was in that year that he was inspired by the book, Project Blue Book: The Report on Unidentified Flying Objects by Edward J. Ruppelt. He was a member of the National Investigations Committee on Arial Phenomena (NICAP) from 1960 to 1969. In 1970 Mr. Sievers joined the Mutual UFO Network as a Field Investigator and State Section Director for Indiana. In the early eighties he served as the Public Information Representative for the J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS). He with Kerry Teverbaugh, co-founder UPRO, The Unexplained Phenomena Research Organization formed to study extra-normal events. He succeeded Francis Ridge as State Director of the Indiana Chapter of MUFON in 1997 and served in that office until March of 2011.
