Space Shuttle UFO Images! By Steven Hile
This critique looks at specific NASA space shuttle video data tracked and researched by Jeff Chandler who passed away in October, 2007. A Filers Files tribute to Jeff Chandler is on the left bar along with a newspaper article, his last reported space anomaly and a case book file. Chandler was know for obtaining extraordinary evidence for proof of unidentified flying objects in our atmosphere and near space. He reviewed hundreds of hours of video tape and founded Project Prove. He produced and directed a DVD titled "Secret Space, What is NASA Hiding" available at this link and includes his original and later work. Chandlers Project Prove web site is currently still available on the Internet.
Jeff Chandlers original work release was the video "What Do They Know?" copyright 2000 and was 20th Century work. This is an outstanding work and one which took a few months to sink-in before I began to understand what was really on this video. This work provides another angle or view on the anomalous objects detected in the Earth's atmosphere using high tech cameras. Although different in perspective it supports the work of Reich/Constable and lends credence to the anomalies reviewed in these critiques.
This work provides another angle or view on the anomalous objects detected in the Earth's atmosphere using primarily cameras which were state-of-art at the time of the viewing. Although different in perspective this data supports the work of Wilhelm Reich, Trevor James Constable lends credence to the anomalies reviewed in these critiques.
Here I will be reviewing the NASA 20th Century video data found under 'U.F.O.s From Space Flights' link on www.projectprove.com web site. That page titled Space Anomalies lists a number of videos produced by Chandler. I review several here which were outstanding on the 'What Do They Know?' video tape. These on-line videos produced from the original recorded video are not nearly as easy to comprehend. The computer screen and down-loaded animated GIF files add limits to the presentation. The videos are also plagued a electronic snow which Chandler addresses as appearing on all video feeds apparently associated with the space shuttle video down links. For the best viewing obtaining the DVD is suggested.
On all sequences an Introduction is followed by a Description, then Setting the scene detail information including Shuttle flight numbers. The actual moving videos show the subject anomalies coming into the picture in the GIF frame-by-frame sequence where as in the actual videos the object movements are continuous and better understood.
STS-96 The Florida Sequence (June, 1999) Perhaps the most compelling of these videos on anomalies is the Florida Sequence which is broken down into five pages. These presentations are quite well done despite the on-line limitations. The sequence begins off the southern coast of Florida and moves up along the Atlantic seaboard. The objects can be seen to slow down as they enter the picture. They appear to head into active thunder storms with powerful lightning discharges. Cloud lighting is much more pronounced on video than show here.
The Florida Sequence is most astounding when viewed continuously on video. The images of these anomalies entering into powerful electrical thunderstorms speaks to their probability of being energy in make up themselves. It is totally out of the realm of normal physics for matter as we know it to survive such powerful chaotic energy discharges. There is sYet here we have a whole series of anomalies doing so.
There is simply no 'containing' such massive electrical energy for any objective purpose. Lighting is ultra high voltages jumping hugh diaelectrics (atmosphere) to balance charges. Such energies in our three-dimensional existance is one of the most lethel in the Universe.
In the sense of ufology then this sequence fits in the realm as one of the more mystifying.
The Tether Incident - Shows a space shuttle satellite tether which broke away apparently from an electrical problem. The loose tether/satelite remained in orbit for a number of weeks and was visible from the ground, appearing something like a small but surprisingly bright fluorescent light traveling through the sky. The major flap over this event was the video footage of the loose tether under certain conditions showing anomlous objects. The Project Prove data centers around the optical illusions which could cause such anomolies. This data centers on an 'Airy Disk' moving in front of the Tether where-as many anomolies appear on the video during close up camera lens footage. An example of a close-up lens anomolies does show such strange images occurring. A water dump link shows the strange shapes and movements water takes as it exits the shuttle.
The Tether Incident on the left bar links to a video showing the actual video footage along with Trevor James Constable's comments on the event. Constable describes the sophicated ultraviolet camera used to video the event. With the tether 77 miles, away images showed numerous anomolies moving in varous directions, many with center holes and 'V' notches. Many anomolies appear to move behind the tether at this distance. The anomolies also appear to materalize and dematerialize and a question remains as to what is illuminating the anomalies? What ever their nature, at 77 miles the tether was not near the shuttle and the anomolies show up as quite large. As wether such anomalies would be visible from the ground will be addressed next.
The Houston Sequence - As the space shuttle Discovery orbits past Houston Texas, a camera zooms in for a close-up. Suddenly, an anomaly shots by at extreme speed, followed by a much larger and brighter object. This object came in from over Texas heading past Houston, out over the Gulf of Mexico. The object visibly decelerates, comes to a halt and winks out. Immediately a small object, which appears to originate from the vanishing point of the large object, travels due west in a straight line. This object is hard to distinguish on this animated GIF file. The second object soon disappeared as well and then the original object reappears to the south of its wink out point and continues to move out over the Gulf of Mexico. There appears to be some cloudiness and light rings due to sunrise. The Triangle Formation - The triangle formation is taken from one of the best sequences on the video and DVD. This sequence (at night of course) starts at the Gulf of Mexico and travels northeast across the U.S. into Canada showing city lights below as the shuttle orbits. At the end of the sequence, from which the triangle formation is taken, Lake Erie and Lake Ontario can be seen. The lights from cities in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana are seen in the sequence. The animated GIF file as seen here shows the triangle of three anomalies moving more rapidly than in real time on the video. The anomalies are approximately 40 to 45 miles apart yet they travel in a triangle maintaining a very tight formation. The data given indicates the moon was in the last quarter and that the anomalies are again self-luminous.
The Chicago Sequence - The Chicago sequence will be of particular interest to Indiana residents. In predawn hours, the Atlantis shuttle was passing over northern Illinois. As the Shuttle was heading over Chicago two unusual objects were seen moving below in the camera field. The first smaller object is seen in the first set of animated GIFs. The second object moving with some speed was picked up and zoomed in on by the camera operator after following the first object. The second object is seen moving over the western Chicago suburbs, Chicago and out over Lake Michigan toward the Indiana and Michigan shoreline. Set in sequence of animated GIF files here, the Chicago sequence is much more real on the video.
There are a number of other sequences in the NASA 20th Century video data and many more in the NASA 21st Century video data. A review of this data is recommended by this writer as well as the other pages on the web site.
Critique Summery: In many of the videos the Houston INCO controlling the shuttle payload bay camera took steps to zoom in and followed the progress of the anomalies as far as was possible and in some cases shut-down the public feed early when unusual circumstances were presented. The anomalies had all the characteristics of self-illumination and were not indicative of ice flakes or debris reflecting in the rising Sun or shuttle lighting. The size, alignments, speed, deceleration and cloud entering sequences of these anomalies give rise to the similar characteristics of Constables Critters. If these anomalies were as large and as bright at times as they appear to be, why would they not be visible from the ground? The answer to that is in the capabilities of the camera. In the above You-Tube Tether Incident Trevor James Constable describes the ultraviolet recording characteristics of this camera. Here again we have a characteristic attributable to Constables Critters; invisibility in the visual optical range. Once again I need to stress the limitations of animated GIFs in reference to the DVD video presentations. The videos are much longer and the anomalies are shown in continuous movement.
