By Jerry Sievers State Director Indiana MUFON A singular event on April 16, 2008, an early spring evening involving 10's if not hundreds of witnesses, tying up phone lines to police and emergency services, causing controversy that is still talked about today. It all started with the infamous boom and involved the Air National Guard and received local and later national fame or infamous depending upon your point of view. Indiana MUFON investigators besides being witnesses went immediately to work following up on reports and searching for more witnesses, tracing Air National Guard and FAA leads to more information. Extraordinary efforts if you will, it's what we call "striving to search for the truth behind UFOs". I again want to commend all personnel involved in this event. Well done team.
